Xfce4-terminal fonts problems

Hello,

I have a problem with xfce4-terminal, with some fonts, the characters overlap.
Like this:

It works with Monospace but with some others fonts like OpenSans, Newspaper ... I have this problem.

I haven't fonts problems with the rest of my system.

I see the same with variable-width fonts - only the monospace ones seem to render properly, so I just use a monospaced font. There is this oldish bug report that you can add to and bump up.

Thank you for your answer, after some investigations. Apparently the problem comes from xte-terminal or GTK.
