plugins with genie

Hi,

Xfce version 4.10.1 according to the about in xfce-panel. Using Fedora 20. Pyxfce is not available and I do  not know c has anyone tried the new language genie. I see that there are bindings for vala. Genie compiles to c code. If any one has an example of developing a xfce panel plugin using genie could you let me know how is is done. Thanks.
