Can't type the letter "i" in the terminal

Using xfce4-terminal 0.6.3
I can type the uppercase I, but not the lowercase. There is no other program/utility on my machine that does not respond to that key. I'm on an HP, 32 bit, Linux Ubuntu/xubuntu.
I had to switch to LXTerminal, which works fine, but I'd rather use xfce4

Re: Can't type the letter "i" in the terminal

That's a really strange one. I wonder if its mapped to something else. Can you post back your ~/.config/xfce4/terminal/accels.scm file so we can check?

You might also try renaming the xfce4-terminal configuration directory (~/.config/xfce4/terminal) to say ~/.config/xfce4/terminal.BAK and see if resetting it to defaults makes a difference.

Has it always been like this, or is this a recent thing?
