I'm noticing that with some GTK based apps, like one I use all the time, Kega Fusion which is a Sega emulator, when in Xfce arrow keys tend to get stuck causing my game character to start walking in a direction when I'm not pressing any keys. If I tap the key for the direction the character is moving, he'll stop.
I also noticed this happen in at least in a couple other apps too. I don't have the name of the apps on hand but I will if required.
When in MATE or even Unity, it doesn't do this at all. So I'm not sure what's causing it.
Xubuntu 14.04. Completely up to date that Xubuntu allows.

In settings - accessibility there is a "sticky keys" option. That isn't selected is it?

No, not selected, just checked. Wish it was something that easy, lol

I did someone with a similar issue and tried it in a different DE and found the problem still existed, so bug with the game. Can't remember what the game was though.

I've done more research but I'm just not finding anything. Its frustrating when there's no official support for any of these desktop environments. I'd pay to fix these problems. It seems to trigger based on how long a key is being held down in combination with holding down other keys at the same time. The fact that MATE and Unity do not have this issue leads me to believe its how the keyboard is handled.
