panel applets repeating panel background image

hi

trying to set up a panel theme using bg images but some plugins (eg action button, indicator plugin) are repeating the left side of the image used for the background.

anyone know of a way to fix this?

Very interesting find. I'd suggest filing a bug report against xfce4-panel either at Ubuntu's launchpad ("ubuntu-bug xfce4-panel) or Xfce's bugzilla.

Yeah sounds the same, and it's an old bug from a year and half ago that still hasn't been fixed. *sigh*

no probs, just merged my panel images to the wallpaper in GIMP and used completely transparent panels. I will just have to remember to merge the panel jpg when I want to change wallpaper.
