windows position

Bonjour,

Since a while I have some trouble with the position of the windows when I open a new window in an empty screen: systematically, the window is put at the bottom of the screen while it use to be placed at the top of the screen...

This is not a serious problem but it is quite annoying!

Where can I find the culprit and how can I change this behaviour.

afaik there is no way to change this in xfwm, anyway you can make them all open centered (Window manger tweaks>placement> check center and set the slider to 100/large) or at your mouse pointer
