[Solved] tweaking the system tray

Hi there!
Is there a way to get rid of the border around the system tray element or change the border-color?
Where would the separate parts of the system tray be stored and can the single icons be altered?
thanks in advance!

Re: [Solved] tweaking the system tray

To the first part of your question: if you right-click an empty location of the Notification Area (a little tricky sometimes to get the mouse in the right location) > Properties, a dialog box pops up where you can untick "Show frame." You can also adjust icon size there, and decide to a certain extent what shows or not. At least, that's how it is on 4.10 for me.

MX-23 (based on Debian Stable) with our flagship Xfce 4.18.

Aaaaah, perfect! big_smile Thank you, Jerry! Well, yeah, indeed it didn't come to my mind to look for the 'properties' inbetween the icons wink ...
