XFCE4 and Xnoise player

Hello

I'm using Xfce 4.11 in a Archbased distro (Manjaro).

I'm experiencing a glitch in which the standard Player (Xnoise) is haveing trouble showing the List will all artists. But this only occurs with certain appearance such as Greenbird. It seems like the there's something wrong with the spacing or something.

All the themes are using the same font and font size, but u can see that only "greenbird" theme has this problem:

1- GreenBird

2- Mist

3- Raleigh

Is there anything I can do to work around this?

Re: XFCE4 and Xnoise player

if app use gtk-3 then and use xfce4 defaultS theme
 no gtk3 support
else
 if theme have gtk3 counterpart
  work
 else
 theme not work
else
 work
end

in ressume if the app use gtk3 then no theme from gtk-xfce work since no gtk3 (gtk3.6+ to be exact) exist, but greybird have a gtk3 (3.14, 3.16, 3.12, etc.) support.

this apply for any embeded hack to fonts or theme in the gtk3-theme.
so if no-gtk3 theme work and greybird (a gtk3 cappable) theme not, then maybe is something related to the theme or the app (when non gtk3 theme is used)

in the mailistin we are discussing about the future of the default theme in xfce4 in GTK2 and GTK3 apps in xfce.

Re: XFCE4 and Xnoise player

ok tried it - and it seems greybird is buggy, so you can try to fill a report on the authors site or use another theme instead:

Re: XFCE4 and Xnoise player

Does it change anything if I say that with previous versions of Xfce and/or Xnoise there wasn't any problem at all?

I've always used this configs, but this glitch is very recent.

Re: XFCE4 and Xnoise player

maybe you rebuild xnoise or gtk3 recently? maybe they just updated the theme to 3.14 and broke accidentally something else

Re: XFCE4 and Xnoise player

also the issue is gone by adding:

*.sidebar {
padding:5px;}

at the bottom of the gtk.css
