How To Globally Make Desktop Shortcuts Executable?

Hi

whenever i click a desktop icon, i get "untrusted application launcher"

I understand i can prevent this on a per-shortcut basis, by clicking "make executable".

however, is there a way to do this globally, even for new shortcuts i add in the future?

yes I would like this too, it gets irritating after every deskcut I make in firefox asks this
