Hi!
On rare occasions only the second bar of my Xubuntu 14.04 64bit with Xfce 4.12 (PPA) suddenly freezes.
How can I figure out what the cause may be?
Thank you very much for your help in advance.

Which plugins do you have added to the second bar?
When the hang happens, have a look at the following log files to see if anything is listed:
- /var/log/Xorg.0.log
- ~/.xsession-errors
- ~/.cache/xfce4/startxfce4.log (if it exists)
Since the logs get filled with alot of information, it would be essential to identify which entries occur when the hang happens. You might want to open 3 terminal windows and run a different one of these commands in each window:
tail -f /var/log/Xorg.0/log
tail -f ~/.xsession-errors
tail -f ~/.cache/xfce4/startxfce4.log
The "tail -f" command displays a running live view of the contents of the file. When the hang happens, hopefully you will see one of those logs will start having information written to it.
