moving icons on the desktop

Xfce pretty cool indeed...

when i need to move icons around the desktop i ended up on moving in other folder, for example if i want to move a folder near the trash bin i finish to put inside of it, because isn't clear where the borders are, infact the icon dont evidenziate so i cannot tell if the icon will remain in the desktop or will go erroneusly on the bin...

in sum
if i drag an icon in the desktop to adjust its position near to oter folder i often ending in put inside the other folder insted of close to it, we need i highligting ssystem that show if the moved icon will remain in the desktop or will go inside the other folder.

sorry for the verbosity, but i would like to be clear, and usually i ended up to be unclear, and verbose :-)
