[Solved] Xfce Mint 17: no wallpaper from own images

The desktop editor gladly changes my wallpaper to one of the default ones, however my own images could not turn to that.

If i browse my images folder in the desktop manager i can see only a list of .jpg files, but all disabled to be clicked.
Also form an iimage wiever if i choose the option "set as wallpaper" nothing happens.

What should i cahange? Should i use a different image format?

Hi Szilard,

This had me stumped at first as well.
When you see the folder contents but can't select anything look at the bottom of the window. There is an "Open" button. Click that. Then you can select your choice.
