Big shutdown button on desktop

Hi,

Is it possible to have a big shutdown button on the desktop itself? Basically what i want is a button (starter) on the desktop which just requires to be double clicked and shut downs my little daughters laptop.

Anyone here who can help me with this?
Many thanks in advance!

You could put an Action Button on a Panel, with only Shut Down selected.  If you do, I'd suggest that you include confirmation to give you 30 seconds to back out if it gets clicked by mistake.  Depending on your daughter's age, this might be a little less tempting than an icon on the desktop itself.
