Hello.
I've noticed parole writes some notices on console after playback is started
mv: /home/abishai/.xdg-screensaver-darkstar--0.0: set owner/group (was: 1001/0): Operation not permitted
mv: /home/abishai/.xdg-screensaver-darkstar--0.0: set owner/group (was: 1001/0): Operation not permitted
mv: /home/abishai/.xdg-screensaver-darkstar--0.0: set owner/group (was: 1001/0): Operation not permitted
mv: /home/abishai/.xdg-screensaver-darkstar--0.0: set owner/group (was: 1001/0): Operation not permitted
I use slock as screensaver and "disable screensaver when playing movies" is set to off. I'm pretty sure the warnings are completely harmless, but if someone knows what causing them or how to get rid of them, please tell.

Parole uses xdg-screensaver to suspend the screensaver.
On my system, the xdg-screensaver process starts up, but I don't have a ~/.xdg-screensaver* file in my home directory.
What version of Parole and xdg-utils do you have installed?

Hmm, never heard about this utility. File is created if I untick "disable screensaver" in parole settings, but the warnings are here in any case.
Parole Media Player 0.8.0
xdg-utils-1.0.2.20130919_1

I've got parole 0.8.0 and xdg-utils 1.1.0 on both of my systems (Arch and Xubuntu). Perhaps something changes in xdg-utils. Either way, looks like its harmless.
