Unbind media volume keys from xfce4-volumed

Is there any way to unbind the media volume keys from xfce4-volumed, to don't used globally?
I'm using kodi and I want to use them to control its volume, not the master volume.

Re: Unbind media volume keys from xfce4-volumed

Hello and welcome.

Is there any way to unbind the media volume keys from xfce4-volumed, to don't used globally?

Kill the process and don't run xfce4-volumed. It should free up the media keys.

I'm using kodi and I want to use them to control its volume, not the master volume.

Does kodi expose some interface or allow you to use the media keys to control it's volume?

Thanks, I thought that this will kill the sound applet also. Now these buttons are available. I don't need to do something more, kodi is already configured to use them.
