[Solved] plugin application menu

After installing xfce4 on ubuntu12.04 et rebooting the machine, the panel cannot display the plug-in application menu.
The error message is : plug-in application menu unexpectedly left the panel
The dialog box offers to execute it again or delete it.
Re-execution leads to the same problem.

Does anybody have an idea how to succeed to display the plug-in in the panel ??
Thanx.

Re: [Solved] plugin application menu

looks like your plugin is wrongly linked (eg against an older version of libxfce-ui or the panel lib) in that case you can only rebuild it

Re: [Solved] plugin application menu

Thank you sixsixfive. Now it's solved.
It seems that a package xfce-panel-dev was missing.

Thanx.
