I agree. Also make it so you can replace each sound with a standard sound format like mp3, wav, etc.

1. I would like open path in thunar in active tab. If I use avfs (in this case) to view/explore archives I only can open archive in new window
2. Monitor switcher after change will close. Allows switch to another scenario by pressing a few times win+P
3. Folders can have replaced emblems and colors in thunar like in nautilus
4. Volume applet with pulseaudio. Allows change song, sink volume and sink output from them
5. Simple screenlock. Only black screen or static wallpaper. Unlocking by password or gesture on touchpad

Hi. I would like a new feature for mouse configuration panel.
When you are using a laptop, you can use a classical mouse, or a trackpoint/touchpad.
I would like a option to easy setup : when my mouse is pluged, disable trackpoint/touchpad.
Thanks

@pistache
Just use this, and connect it to thunar-volman or keyboard shortcut:
if [[ $(synclient -l |awk '$1~/TouchpadOff/ {print $3}') = 0 ]];
then synclient TouchpadOff=1 && notify-send 'Touchpad został WYŁĄCZONY'
else
synclient TouchpadOff=0 && notify-send 'Touchpad został WŁĄCZONY'
fi

If you are using Ubuntu-based distro there is a little program called Touchpad Indicator which does exactly what you want. It automatically activates/deactivates the touchpad when you unplug/plug in a USB mouse; there is a panel indicator for settings. A search for Touchpad Indicator will show details of how to get it (via an APT), e.g. this site http://www.noobslab.com/2013/08/touchpa … fixed.html. I've been using it for a couple of years now and find it invaluable.

Logitech Mouse support! Scroll speed, and other advanced features would be nice.

Built in support for the Logitech Unifying Receiver. Granted Solaar: http://pwr.github.io/Solaar/ does a fine job, but trying to find a PPA that will work in 15.10 is a job. That's why we have Synaptic Package Manager!
But really, it would be nice to have it added as a part of Mouse & Touchpad.

My Logitech mouse (M325) works fine. Left button, right button, center (scroll wheel) button, "push scroll wheel left" button, "push scroll wheel right" button all work fine. Scroll wheel works. I just remove the little USB receiver from inside the mouse, plug it in to my laptop and - if the mouse is turned on (it generally is, since the AA battery appears to last over a year whether I remember to turn the thing off once in a while or not) - immediately start using it.
IDK if it's the same thing you're talking about when you mention "Logitech Unifying Receiver" or not, but my previous Logitech mouse was part of a set that also included a wireless keyboard and remote and I think the receiver was called that (it plugged into a little stand which connected to a USB port via cable, or I could plug it directly into a USB port if I wanted). It all worked, even the remote (okay, that was largely useless - but it worked, lol). I'd still be using them (liked the mouse a little better) if I hadn't managed to lose the little receiver gizmo. Hmm... I wonder if the current mouse's receiver will work with the old mouse/keyboard/remote?
I don't honestly know if all the above functioned because of something in Xfce or something that just happened to be included in Mint, Ultimate Edition, and the other two distros I tried them with. I don't suppose I really care, lol. But I neither know nor care whether Honda manufactured the alternator they put in my mother's Civic or if they installed one that someone else supplied, either. It, like my Logitech mouse, works fine. I guess that if my mouse only functions because all the distros I've tried support it - as opposed to the functionality being inbuilt in Xfce - that you could try to get Xfce's developers to add it in, since Logitech is a pretty popular mouse/keyboard/etc. brand. (<SHRUGS> Or you could try a different distro, lol.) OtOH, not everyone chooses to use that brand of hardware, and the folks who do not might (reasonably, in their case) look at such an inclusion as both a waste of limited Xfce developer hours and "unnecessary code." I don't really know which viewpoint would be considered more correct.
Just out of curiosity: Your Logitech devices do not work at all without adding a 3rd-party repo/application? Or are there specific features that you're talking about which I'm (apparently?) not thinking of?
I mentioned Ultimate Edition. That distro is built (based) on Ubuntu. Several years ago, when I was using it, I read that its developer (Thee Mahn, I forget his real name) had written some code to fully(?) support some fancy - and, IIRC, ridiculously expensive - keyboard that had its own display and about a bazillion functions. I think it was a Logitech. If I'm not mistaken, he made it available to anyone, whether they were using UE or a different distro. You might try looking around the UE forum to see about Logitech support. I'd suggest trying that distro, but it is (or, at least, was) an "everything including the kitchen sink" sort of distro and may not be to everyone's taste... And I don't think he has included Xfce as one of the multiple preinstalled DE choices for a while, so you'd have to install it yourself from their repos (which is easy to do, but...).
EDIT: I was wrong, it turns out that there IS (as of October) a version of Ultimate Edition that includes Xfce as a preinstalled DE. It's called ultimate-edition-4.6-x64-xfce.iso and has XBMC in addition to the Xfce DE (and, at ~3.2 gigabytes, I'm guessing lots and lots and LOTS of applications).

Did you try "Places" panel plugin/applet? It seems that it has what you want.

If you're using a Debian distro, you might take a look at one of our tools: MX System Sounds.
MX-23 (based on Debian Stable) with our flagship Xfce 4.18.

@Pavel -> What about the Xfce Mount Plugin?
edit: Although what you want is exactly MX USB Unmounter. There are 32 and 64 bits .deb files and tarballs here.

Lol. Usually when a thing works for one person but not another - and they're both using the same DE - the fault is not with that thing, but with the other person's implementation of the DE (et cetera).
What distro are you running? What .RSS software do its other users use?
Alternatively, why doesn't the above suggestion work for you? With all the logs present in the average linux setup, and the ability to run things in "debugging mode"(???) in order to produce even more than the standard amount of information - along with approximately one atom's worth of common sense (presumably) telling you that "It don't work with my xfce desktop" is, just perhaps, a little bit shy on the troubleshooting information...
...would you like to elaborate somewhat, lol? In some ways, it's like going to the doctor. When asked what the issue is, replying, "I don't feel good," is not going to help.
I do recall that someone suggested Liferea as a feed reader for use within the Xfce DE here a while back. I just checked, and it's in my distro's repositories - perhaps it is in yours, as well? Furthermore, typing "rss" into Synaptic Package Manager just showed me a list of 163 packages. Obviously, not everything listed in Synaptic Package Manager is going to be what you, specifically, are looking for. But that would be a good place to begin your search, IMHO. (Although trying to actually figure out why the previous suggestion might be a better starting point, for a variety of reasons.)
