Unpredictable screensaver

After booting up , my screens get dark  after being idle 2 minutes(i measured it). And by moving my mouse i see my desktop again. (*)
But looking in my 'Screensaver preferances' i cant see any related timer on 2 minutes.
In fact 'Advanced/Power management enabled' is Off'
Also in "Display Modes/Lock Screen' is Off and 'Blank After' is 10 minutes.

When i changed 'Advanced/Blanking/Fade Duration' to 10 sec then i waited but now the screens wont turn black after 1-2minutes but
after 10 minutes the screensaver animation is activated.

(*)(well since it's dual monitor set up some times windows from one monitor will go to the other. that's an issue for which i posted in another thread although not in the context of screensaving. now since one is DP and the other HDMI it counl be related that the power on with a time diff. anyway that is a tangent issue ).

I found those settings :
Display power management : On
Power Manager/Blank after: One minute.
Power Manager/Put to sleep after - 2 minutes.  I'll test to see if thats is responsible for blanking the screens.

So maybe that explains the blanking , even thought it happened in two minutes and not in one.
But still i cant explain why the blanking seem to not happen always.

What is the output of the following?

xfconf-query --channel xfce4-power-manager --property /xfce4-power-manager/brightness-on-ac

xfconf-query --channel xfce4-power-manager --property /xfce4-power-manager/brightness-level-on-ac

Screensaver Preferences/Advanced   Has 'Display power management/Power management Enabled' Off.  But Power Manager / Display is On .
But hovering above that Power Manager / Display / Display power management  ON-OFF button (where i assume 'I' means ON? ) it hints me about sth
that i wasnt aware: 'Let the power manager handle display power manager (DPMS) instead of X11.

Correct. You have DPMS enabled. The /xfce4-power-manager/dpms-on-ac-sleep property corresponds to Put to sleep after, which is set to two minutes. Adjust accordingly and see if that helps.

Thanks for the feedback.
It seems that there is some 'duplication' for the "Display power management' . In Screensaver preferences and in Power Manager utility.
I am confused about how those  settings are related.
So if DPMS is enabled xscreensaver is not used?
