[Feature request] Thunar grid fields when displaying thumbnails

If you open a directory with pictures and there are files with very long names, then the thumbnail grid will look just awful! Why not just hide the overly long title?

Re: [Feature request] Thunar grid fields when displaying thumbnails

I will add to the post: I would like each thumbnail to take up some specific space and so that the files do not look scattered...

Interesting. A thumbnail view to go along with Icon, List and Compact.

The proper place to create feature requests would be at https://gitlab.xfce.org/xfce/thunar/-/issues - this way the developers/maintainer will see it. Are you able to contribute code?

This issue seems to be 7 years old! Seven!))) This is a lot, it is unlikely that this will ever be decided.
