I'm on Mint 21.2, XFCE with Ubuntu 22.04. I was wondering if it is possible to center the login window. I searched online and edited multiple .css files but none of them had an effect. The only one that DID have an effect didn't have an option for the login screen pixels. I'm pretty sure I'm using the slick greeter if that helps. When I tried switching my login display manager to lightdm, I got stuck on the bootscreen, and pressing escape showed [FAILED] Failed to start LIGHT DISPLAY MANAGER. However, my current display manager is Light DM. Anyways, I was just hoping to figure out a way to center my login window on mint 21.2, Ubuntu 22.04.

Thanks. Is it possible to make the window smaller? When I enable high contrast, the login window shrinks to a size that I like, but I don't want the window to be white.

Other than what you've already done I don't know if that's possible. The colour of the window is determined by the theme you choose.
