Almost every DE's defaults file manager now have Tabbed Browser Support, dolphin,Nautilus, pcmanfm,i like thunar,it's better than pcmanfm in many ways, but not support tabs is really a pain.Tabbed Browser is a very useful feature, with it you can switch between directories within a single browser window. It would be great if thunar supports tabs.Wound you please add this feature in next version thunar please? Thanks.

I would also like Thunar to support tabs.
And it would be nice if someone fixed the way that firefox shows tabs in Linux (the tabs and tab-bar frame)..... it's been terrible since they switched to native gtk.

Honestly, I would consider the "open extra pane" option in Nautilus to be a much more useful option, and potentially easier to implement. But then I thought ... I could just use additional Thunar windows. I imagine the same logic applies to tabs.
oh, you want eXtremely Fast Computing? thats Easy ...

For those of us who like tabs, just use pcmanfm instead. It is easy enough to install. Or use one of each...

thank God that some one see's the sense in keeping Thunar what it is ... a beautiful file manager without all that other crud piled into it simply because thats how old times browsers used to work ...
