Help on help

Clicking the [Help] button from within a XFCE feature (e.g. xfce4-about or the Setting Manager) results in launching Firefox and attempting to access https://docs.xfce.org/ , which brings Secure Connection Failed.

Accessing the same URL directly yields the same dead-end.

This with a Firefox profile with fairly conservative, yet not paranoid, security settings. With an "out of the box" Firefox the same page is displayed all right. I haven't been able to pinpoint which setting(s) are involved, probably in the region of "🔒Privacy and security/Certificates".

Same [mis]behaviour at https://wiki.xfce.org/, https://gitlab.xfce.org/, https://blog.xfce.org/ …

Hence questions:

1. Is there any chance that the admins of the XFCE websites do the right thing and unify the level of certification ?
2. Is there a way to set the internal help of XFCE to be local rather than over internet ?

I happened on the old Firefox 115 ESR.
New Firefox versions seem to work fine for me.

I blamed it on too old root certificates in Firefox 115 ESR, and wiki.xfce.org likely being signed by some new CA.
