inconsistant free space

Nautilus, thunar, gparted and the xfce free space checker panel plugin are showing hard drive space inconsistencies

Note the sizes on the top right-hand corner of the screen, that is the free space checker plugin

What version of Thunar is that?

More information on Thunar size descrepancy issues here. I believe the disk space checker uses MB.

What does the following show:

df -h
df -H

'h' = MB, 'H' = MiB.
